Description of the conditions of hire

Booking and Payment
To confirm the booking 20% of the rent must be paid in advance.
The remaining balance of the rent, cleaning fee, plus the deposit must be paid in cash on arrival. No delays on the payment will be accepted. No money no keys!


Cancellation
Return of pre-payment depends on the following:
Notice given up to 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded : 95% of the pre-payment.
Notice given up to 14 days prior to arrival date will be refunded : 50% of the pre-payment
Notice given less than 72 hours or no prior notice to arrival date: 0%


Cleaning
There is a 60 € cleaning fee for every reservation. This is for the departure cleaning that is done after check out to get the apartment ready for the next customers. This fee will be included in your amount to be paid on arrival to the apartment.

Arrival/Departure
Check in is from 14:00h to 21:00h. However if there are no other reservations at the time exceptions can be made.  In any case it can be possible to leave your luggage at the apartment at time of arrival upon waiting for proper check in if the apartment is free.

Please note the extra charges for late arrivals:
- Arrivals between 20:00h and 23:00h have an extra charge of 25 €.
- Arrivals later than 23:00h have an extra charge of 40 €.
These charges are due to late working hours of our staff.
 Check out time is by 11:00h.  Arrangements can be made to leave luggage in apartment until departure of Barcelona if no other reservations are pending.

Deposit
A cash deposit of 200 € will be requested upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded in full upon departure if none of the following occur:

Reasons for not returning the security deposit are as follows:

  • Non authorized departures prior to the time estimated given to the owner or the agency.
  • Accommodating more people than  stipulated in the reservation contract.
  • Disturbing the neighborhood. Any guest who caused any disturbance will be asked to leave the apartment immediately with no refund at all.
  • Any damage or theft committed to the apartment by the tenants:
  • A portion of the deposit will be retained for leaving the apartment in excessively dirty conditions; please make sure the kitchen is clean and all dishes are washed and garbage has been thrown out.


Liability
Neither Barcelona Holiday Rentals nor the owner of the property is liable for any damages that may occur during the stay. This includes left or loss of property.
